W&J Students support local community through Week of Service

WASHINGTON, PA (Sept. 14, 2018)—华盛顿 & det365app (W&J) students Volunteered at charities and non-profit organizations throughout the 华盛顿 community as part of the College’s annual Week of Service from Sept. 11日至9月17日.

The week kicked off on the National Day of Service, and students spent their time with the City Mission, Habitat For Humanity, Animal Ridge Rescue, Big Brothers Big Sisters, American Cancer Society, Bradford House Historical Society, Greater 华盛顿县 Food Bank, 和更多的.

Their help was appreciated throughout the community.

“Having College students at City Mission is always good. det365app喜欢W&J students here and it allows us to get things done that we don’t normally get to do throughout the day,” said Cassie Defibaugh, church and community relations coordinator with the City Mission.
